This is a very quiet fan with an amazing power. I already have the 32 inch one but I needed a more powerful one for a larger area! I also own several other Govee devices and I am very satisfied with all of them. I use Govee app to control them. Govee support experts are very helpful, I didn’t know how to add this fan to the Govee app and their solution was fast and easy: I just had to reset the fan pressing the Mode and the Timer buttons for 5 seconds. Everything works perfectly!

Govee is one of my favorite brands. I have all their lights and TV backlights etc. When I saw that they had a new smart fan I had to get it for the summer and it has not disappointed. There are so many smart features from setting exactly what degrees of the room you want covered with oscillation, to the actual speed of the oscillation as well as the built-in night light. I love the natural mode it really does feel like a summer day with a breeze here and there. I would highly recommend this van not to mention the company is really solid and I've been using their products for 6 years now and have over 30 of their products at my house. Definitely recommend!

I'm loving this fan. I've only had it about 2 weeks, but so far it works as advertised and is simple to schedule and customize.
All of the fan's features, and there are several, are adjustable via the app or on the fan itself, but I've mostly used the app so far.
It is ETL listed (similar to UL) which is something I look for in any electrical appliance.
It has 12 speeds - speed #1 is a very, very light breeze, just barely noticeable, and #12 is hurricane force winds. I think #12 could blow you off your chair, so if you have a large area or are outdoors, 12 will definitely cover it.
The nightlight can be turned off, set to one of hundreds of colors, or even a 'scene' where it changes colors. The display showing the fan speed can be turned off as well so that it doesn't bother you at night if you use the fan in your bedroom.
You can set it to turn on/off on a timer, and you can schedule it to go on and off on whichever days and times you like, with settings for the nightlight, oscillation, etc. that you can program it for. You can customize each day of the week and any time of day for various operations. Very cool feature.
The only "remote" is your cell phone/pad using the Govee app, or, you can control it manually on the fan itself. You can connect it to Alexa (she recognized it without me even doing anything) and Google and Matter. Apparently there's specific instructions to connect it to Matter (which I don't have). I think there was something in the box with instructions on how to do that.
Programming it and using the app is easy. I'm 65 years old and have had no problem programming Govee products or using the app (the app took some getting used to, and they change it up now and then, but you can figure it out if I can).
It is very quiet on the lower speeds (1-3) and as loud as any other fan I've had on high speeds.
I'm using this fan in my bedroom, which is at least 15' x 15' in size. The fan is about 10' from the head of my bed, and on speed #1 I can feel a very gentle and quiet breeze on my head. Speed setting #3 is probably the most I would need to go in my bedroom, in the dead of summer.
Right now I have it scheduled to come on Mon - Sun at 10 pm, speed #1, oscillating at 15 degrees on one side and 30 degrees on the other, with the nightlight on at 50% (that's the glow near the top of the fan in the photos), and for now I have it scheduled to turn off at 1:30 a.m. because it's still a bit cool where I am. In the summer I'll program it to go all night and turn off in the a.m.
You can adjust the oscillation feature so that if you have it in a corner, you can make it stop rotating when it gets to the wall(s); or, have it oscillate 'X' degrees to the left and a different degree to the right. It's a really nice feature! (See my screenshot/photo.)
The air blows from the fan starting about 6" from the floor I guess; in other words, my dog laying just a couple of feet in front of the fan won't directly feel the air. Step a few feet away though and you can feel it closer to the floor.
I haven't had any squeaks, rattles or other unwanted noises from the fan, but time will tell if that stays true.
The actual operation of it is quiet, but of course the fan/wind noise increases as you get above 3 or 4, as you would expect. My living area/den is about 20 x 20, and I wouldn't need it on higher than 3 to get a good breeze there, but in my bedroom 3 is the max I need.
The aroma sticks are a nice feature, and they work. You soak a stick in essential oil for about 3 or 4 minutes to let it soak in, place it in the little silver 'tube' and clip it onto the front of the fan. It does give off a nice scent, but I imagine you have to repeat the process frequently if you use it daily (you can reuse the stick many times; it comes with 12). I tried it and it made my bedroom smell really nice, but I took it off because my dogs are in there with me at night and I it's not good for them to have that scent going on in a closed room. But I can clip it back on and run it for a bit during the day when they're not in there to freshen the room up.
The fan came very well packaged and putting it together was a simple as snapping the two pieces of the base together, attaching it to the base of the fan with one big 'screw' thing, and plugging the power cord in (be sure to run it under the base like the instructions say so that the fan isn't sitting on the cord). It probably took all of 5 minutes for me to do. The fan is light in weight, and although I'm pretty weak in the arms these days I had no problem getting it put together and carrying it to my bedroom.
This fan is a bit pricey, but imo, it's well worth the money for so many features and customization.
If anything changes, I'll be sure to update.

I'm loving this fan. I've only had it about 2 weeks, but so far it works as advertised and is simple to schedule and customize.
All of the fan's features, and there are several, are adjustable via the app or on the fan itself, but I've mostly used the app so far.
It is ETL listed (similar to UL) which is something I look for in any electrical appliance.
It has 12 speeds - speed #1 is a very, very light breeze, just barely noticeable, and #12 is hurricane force winds. I think #12 could blow you off your chair, so if you have a large area or are outdoors, 12 will definitely cover it.
The nightlight can be turned off, set to one of hundreds of colors, or even a 'scene' where it changes colors. The display showing the fan speed can be turned off as well so that it doesn't bother you at night if you use the fan in your bedroom.
You can set it to turn on/off on a timer, and you can schedule it to go on and off on whichever days and times you like, with settings for the nightlight, oscillation, etc. that you can program it for. You can customize each day of the week and any time of day for various operations. Very cool feature.
The only "remote" is your cell phone/pad using the Govee app, or, you can control it manually on the fan itself. You can connect it to Alexa (she recognized it without me even doing anything) and Google and Matter. Apparently there's specific instructions to connect it to Matter (which I don't have). I think there was something in the box with instructions on how to do that.
Programming it and using the app is easy. I'm 65 years old and have had no problem programming Govee products or using the app (the app took some getting used to, and they change it up now and then, but you can figure it out if I can).
It is very quiet on the lower speeds (1-3) and as loud as any other fan I've had on high speeds.
I'm using this fan in my bedroom, which is at least 15' x 15' in size. The fan is about 10' from the head of my bed, and on speed #1 I can feel a very gentle and quiet breeze on my head. Speed setting #3 is probably the most I would need to go in my bedroom, in the dead of summer.
Right now I have it scheduled to come on Mon - Sun at 10 pm, speed #1, oscillating at 15 degrees on one side and 30 degrees on the other, with the nightlight on at 50% (that's the glow near the top of the fan in the photos), and for now I have it scheduled to turn off at 1:30 a.m. because it's still a bit cool where I am. In the summer I'll program it to go all night and turn off in the a.m.
You can adjust the oscillation feature so that if you have it in a corner, you can make it stop rotating when it gets to the wall(s); or, have it oscillate 'X' degrees to the left and a different degree to the right. It's a really nice feature! (See my screenshot/photo.)
The air blows from the fan starting about 6" from the floor I guess; in other words, my dog laying just a couple of feet in front of the fan won't directly feel the air. Step a few feet away though and you can feel it closer to the floor.
I haven't had any squeaks, rattles or other unwanted noises from the fan, but time will tell if that stays true.
The actual operation of it is quiet, but of course the fan/wind noise increases as you get above 3 or 4, as you would expect. My living area/den is about 20 x 20, and I wouldn't need it on higher than 3 to get a good breeze there, but in my bedroom 3 is the max I need.
The aroma sticks are a nice feature, and they work. You soak a stick in essential oil for about 3 or 4 minutes to let it soak in, place it in the little silver 'tube' and clip it onto the front of the fan. It does give off a nice scent, but I imagine you have to repeat the process frequently if you use it daily (you can reuse the stick many times; it comes with 12). I tried it and it made my bedroom smell really nice, but I took it off because my dogs are in there with me at night and I it's not good for them to have that scent going on in a closed room. But I can clip it back on and run it for a bit during the day when they're not in there to freshen the room up.
The fan came very well packaged and putting it together was a simple as snapping the two pieces of the base together, attaching it to the base of the fan with one big 'screw' thing, and plugging the power cord in (be sure to run it under the base like the instructions say so that the fan isn't sitting on the cord). It probably took all of 5 minutes for me to do. The fan is light in weight, and although I'm pretty weak in the arms these days I had no problem getting it put together and carrying it to my bedroom.
This fan is a bit pricey, but imo, it's well worth the money for so many features and customization.
If anything changes, I'll be sure to update.

I really like the Govee app, well designed and easy to use. There is a lot of customization, but I found I only use the normal setting after initially playing around for a few weeks. I use it in the bedroom where I run it at level 5 at night and 8-12 (high) sometimes to cool off. It does have a nature setting that moves from slow and high to simulate wind, but I like the constant noise at night.

Being able to control the oscillate feature is really nice. I can set it to just swing across the bed, not waste time reaching too far. You do have to watch it a bit to see where the center is/ swing goes initially setting it. You can set swing speed at low or high, I use low. You can even make it not symmetrical.

Night light is a cool feature and you can change colors, but I like no lights at night. I also like being able to turn the indicator lights off too to keep it completely dark. I really like being able to control it with Alexa/echo devices, never need to find the remote or even open the app. I could set scheduling through the app or Alexa but just use voice when going to bed or waking up.

Other notes: sound level is probably about the same as my other fans. It is hard to see where the center is when starting oscillation. I do wish it was a little longer/taller or adjustable but at 42 inches ok, good for wind over the bed.

This smart fan is incredible through and through! It is approximately 4 feet tall, which easily carries air flow wherever you need it. I have a fairly spacey room with very tall furniture, and I feel cooled off no matter the scenario. It's a very versatile fan, with 12 speeds, very wide oscillation and overall very reliable functionality. If you're looking for a loud fan, look elsewhere, as this fan is very quiet, which is exactly what I need. This is a quiet and strong fan packed with a lot of features if you use the Govee app. One feature that I really like is the ability to set the oscillation arc percentage. For example, if you place the fan in a corner you can set the oscillation arc to 90 degrees so the fan doesn’t blow into the walls. The Auto mode is another nice feature where you can determine what temp the fan turns on and off, and the temp range where the fan will automatically change speed until it reaches the highest speed you allow. The Auto mode can work with the fans built in temp sensor, or it is more accurate to buy a compatible Govee Bluetooth temp sensor. Pair the sensor with the fan and put the sensor away from the fan where you are sitting in the room.

This fan does work with Apple Home (HomeKit) via Matter but it is not that straight forward about how to do it. My fan did not come with a Matter code stuck to the fan or in the manual. The Matter code is visible in the Govee app under the fan settings when you follow these steps:

1. Download the Govee mobile app and create an account
2. Add the Fan to the Govee app. The Govee app will automatically detect the fan.
3. Connect the fan to your WiFi within the Govee app (it will prompt you to do this).
4. After the fan is connected to WiFi you should see the Matter code displayed in the app under fan settings. I noticed that it did not display the Matter code right away. I had to quit the app a few times until it finally displayed the code under settings.
5. Then use the Matter code to register the fan in the Apple Home app. The Apple Home app will know it is a Matter device after scanning the Matter code. If you are using one device (e.g. iPhone) you will have to enter the Matter code using the keypad rather than the phone’s camera. If you are using two devices (e.g. iPad and iPhone) just hold the iPhone screen up to the iPad camera to scan the Matter code with the camera. I recommend taking a screenshot of the Govee app produced Matter code so you have it for the future because there is no printed code on the fan.
6. Apple Home will try to register the new device (fan). The first three times I did this it registered the fan but it displayed the “No Response” status that never changed. After deleting the device from Apple Home and trying another few times I was successful in registering the fan in Apple Home and it has been responsive for a few days now.
7. From Apple Home app, you can turn the fan On/Off and control the speed from 1-100%. You can also start and stop oscillation from the Apple Home app but to do that you need to look in the fan settings within Apple Home where you will see a switch to turn oscillation On or Off.
8. I noticed that after successfully registering the fan in Apple Home, the Govee app still was paired with the fan, but the communication method is Bluetooth rather than WiFi.
9. One last thing about Matter and Apple Home. You must have a Matter compatible Apple Home Hub to use this fan. That would be newer AppleTVs and newer HomePods. Do an Internet search for specifically which Apple HomePods and AppleTVs support Matter if you are not sure.
